I brought my 04 Dodged Cummins diesel truck in with a known Fuel Rail Pressure sensor failure. Replacing the sensor is ‘almost’, like changing a spark plug ( in this truck). But after the unnecessary diagnostics, unknown amount of labor, and test drive. A $300 to $600 job, cost $1,240 dollars and a week to get this simple job done. I’m guessing the Dodge dealer would’ve had a better option.
