I would highly recommend the dental office of Schloss and Klein. I have been going to this dental group for years and have been very happy with their services. I find the dentists and the staff to be very professional. I see Dr. Pritz and he is extremely thorough and caring. The dental hygienists are excellent. Their equipment is modern and the office is very clean.
I have been going to Dr. Schloss and Dr. Klein’s office for the last few years and have had only positive experiences. It can be difficult to find a doctor/dentist after moving to a new city that you can trust and actually like. I have seen Dr. Pritz for routine cleanings and for a whitening treatment. I don't write reviews often and the few that I have written aren't very pleasant. Hence, the following review of Dr. Pritz and the office of Schloss and Klein should be weighted heavier than the others on this page ;) Firstly, I do my research and learned that Dr. Pritz attended UMDNJ, a highly rated dental program known for its applied learning approach. My family of 4 have been patients of both Dr. Schloss and Dr. Klein’s for years. All the dentists and the staff are very caring, friendly, supportive and professional. My daughters started seeing both doctors as soon as they were old enough to have dental checkups. They eased the fears of 1st time child visits and explained everything that was going on in detail as it happened. Dr. Pritz was so gentile and understanding. I am extremely afraid of going to the dentist and this office, Dr. Pritz and his assistant Jackie made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. I recommend them for anything!
Dr. Pritz is HORRIBLE! I'm dying of pain! – I love going to the dentist, and this, by far, has been the worst experience of my life. Talk about being stingy with the anesthetic! On top of that, he was rude to the staff that was TRYING TO HELP ME be more comfortable! I mean, how can you "whisper" she'll be fine, when it was evident that I was literally crying in the chair. And this was a routine cavity fill. And it was pretty ironic that for a dentist, his breath reeked like he hadn't flossed in at least a decade.
Rude Dr Klein- arrogant, unethical to point of neglect – saw dr klein several times. Had seen previous dentist at their office who put put in temporary bridge but was no longer working for them I had financial issues. Accepted insurance but despite fact would receive $2500 from insurance, Dr Klein insisted on $1000 up front from me. When I said I didn't have it, he said come back when I did. Temp broke. He fixed it. Broke again. This time he refused to make any kind of arrangement for me to pay monthly on that advance $1000.... read more

The best dentist that really cares – I have been with Dr. Schloss for the whole 10 years i've lived in nyc. he was recommended by somebody at my office and i then moved offices twice but stayed with him. the whole office is efficient and great and friendly, and i tried the other dentists once or twice (one of them did my root canal) but Dr. Schloss is great. Not only is he friendly etc., he does really quality work - i did like 3 or 4 crowns, and a few fillings, and they always come out perfect. He never tried to rush me int... read more
