I had a myriad of tests done with Dr. Demeester. Unfortunately, all he could diagnose was "non specific gastritis." Also, he diagnosed Acid Reflux. I already knew I had stomach inflammation and acid reflux-- no great mystery at all. And even though he got nowhere near the root cause of my problem, Dr. Demeester said I was eligible for surgery due to my acid reflux. Dr Demeester is the best. He did a 4 hour surgery on my esophagus several years ago. I see him yearly for checkups. My surgery made my life a big plus. Thanks to Dr demeester. Also he is a very nice person

Dr. DeMeester performed a Nissen fundoplication at USC many years ago. He has done subsequent hernia surgeries. The quality of my life has significantly improved. Prior to seeing him, many physicians gave only "lip service" to my concerns. I now go to the Oregon Clinic from my home in southern California as I want the best treatment.
