Dr. Ellis seemed pleasant enough at first. He seemed to listen and said he was going to help me with my post concussion syndrome symptoms. I had vestibular, cognitive, visual and speech issues. He recommended botox for my headaches. I asked about treatments for my other, more serious issues such as inability to walk without falling or blurred vision. My mother was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinsonism in August of 2025. My sister and I both act as caretakers and my sister was unable to attend the appointment so we were video calling with her during the appointment. Dr Ellis noticed the phone and was immediately angry and insisted that we put the phone away. I explained that it was a video call with my sister and he refused to continue the appointment. Steve was extremely rude and and inattentive to listening. His “bedside” manner was horrible and he was very inconsiderate. I cannot give him the respect of calling him doctor. I had a EMG procedure done, and during this visit, my wife was trying to explain to him my symptoms that I had been experiencing. During this conversation he lifted his finger and twirled it in the air as if to tell my wife to hurry up in a rude way. I would post this as a zero if possible. I’ve had a few appts with dr Ellis, he has been condescending, dismissive and gaslights. I originally was referred to him by my primary due to some doubts my primary had about imaging. Was told the imaging was normal. After that he started me on a medication, he discontinued the medication, I was called by his office to set up appointments, and then when I got there was told that he would not be administering the medication he originally signed off on, after I already signed the paper... read more
