Great fantastic!! I seen Dr Mottl after complaining of shortness of the breath and feeling lightheaded after going to the ER a few day earlier with tests coming back normal this was the 2nd time this happen. Dr Mottl showed so much concern and passion for what he does. Immediately had me scheduled for CTA so he could look further. Explained how he will be able to see everything regarding the heart. Great, if you got the time to go get samples, take samples, have no idea if they are working because you never get contacted to see how the meds work, no blood test ever ordered, have done this same med game on at least three heart meds, no one checks to see how they worked, did they make you ill, 3 meds, 3 months, 0 blood test ordered. Not a Doc, but do not think there is any new ways to test heart meds effectively is without a blood test. I would highly recommend Dr. Mottl to every patient looking for a top notch cardiologist. The only drawback is that he does not have a clone.
I was having shortness of breath and wanted to determine why and called the office which was the office of several cardiologist and Dr. Mottl could see me the next day. It was determined after examination I needed my aortic valve replaced along with a hole in my heart had to be repaired. I give Dr. Mottl credit for a quick diagnosis and possibly saving my life. While in the Baylor hospital a nurse, after learning my story, told me I was very lucky to get Dr. Steve as he is one of the best.
Dr. Mottl is a great doctor. He explained everything I needed to know very well, and took the time to make sure that all my questions were answered. I feel extremely confident entrusting him with my health. Fantastic Cardiologist!
Best Doctor in Denton County, took the time to really listen and understand my problems. He spent over 20 minutes with me in the room at my first appointment. Very knowledgeable on all types of therapies.
