I had an anterior hip replacement surgery on 5/19/25 at Providence Seaside Hospital. My surgeon was Dr. Steven Daily. When I met him first time, I felt I could trust him right away. He listened to me and answered all my questions. I could tell all he wanted was to make his patient's life better. My husband injured his leg in a motorcycle accident this week. Really terrifying. He injured bone and ligaments in his leg and injured his knee. Being from the coast our entire lives you always hear, go to Portland don’t have surgery or let anyone touch you on the coast. I live in Portland,Or and was spending some time at the coast. I developed incapacitating trochanteric bursitis (pain at night 10/10). I could not control it with advil, tylenol etc I tried to be seen in an ER, various urgent care clinics who used to inject those-not anymore! I finally contacted the orthopedic clinic at Seaside Providence.
