He was kind, knowledgeable, and respectful, and we were able to get an appt quickly.
Dr. Weiss and his staff are great. When I call, they actually answer the phone. They are all friendly and courteous. Dr. Weiss does his homework, and he had read my information from my internist before I met with him. He did not rush my visit and looked at me when he spoke to me, instead of being buried in his computer. I would highly recommend this practice!!
I have been seeing Dr. Weiss for years with my son! Never have i been greeted with such warmth and politeness until recently. I usually deal with someone else at the front desk, however, recently ive been dealing with Francesca and she is nothing less than wonderful. I will only speak with her when i call. She greets me as soon as i walk in and she really has a great personality both on the phone and in person. I have never been more satisfied than i am now with Dr. Weiss’s office! Excellent job
Dr. Weiss went from hero to zero! Since it was about 2.5 years between visits, his staff said the re-testing visit would be considered a "new patient". They DID NOT tell me that meant a ""new patient" visit fee of$450 or the in-office "Scratch test" fee of $1000. When I questioned it the billing staff told me to apppeal to the Dr. I started with the office mgr then escalated it with a heartfelt letter to Dr. Weiss himself. He didn't even have the decency to acknowledge my letter. Bad business!
My son has been seeing Dr. Weiss since infancy for food and seasonal allergies, and my son is now in college. That's 19 years with the same allergist, after following him from his early days at LIJ Hospital up to where he is now in Syosset with his own practice. We have deep respect and admiration for him as a doctor. He takes his time with his patients, and has always been very kind and professional. I'm grateful to have found such a good doctor to treat my son and highly recommend him.
