Great, recovery time was very short and he explained everything he was going to do in our consultation. I felt comfortable going into the surgery and I thought he was very nice.
When you rip teeth out of people's heads for a living, empathy and warmth towards your patients is paramount, not superfluous, Dr. Icecube. At least introduce yourself when you enter the room.
Dr. Silverman is a skilled and compassionate oral surgeon - I highly recommend him
Look - the other reviews are correct in that his bedside manner is just okay. But he pulled four wisdom teeth yesterday and it was the easiest, most comfortable experience of my life. I’m genuinely shocked. No pain after, literally went to work today (half a day of recovery). Haven’t needed to take one oxy, just a couple Advil. Blown away by how easy the whole thing was. He was so good that last night I actually had to check to see if my top wisdoms were in bc I thought he forgot! Thanks!
He's rough and has no bedside manner. Avoid.
Very rough, shoddy work and barely spoke to me. Doctors like him are the reason people hate going to the dentist...avoid at all costs. His receptionists are inept too, and had me drive to Morristown when my appointment was actually out in Bedminster. If you value your time and your teeth, don't go to him.
No beside manner, at all-- especially if you are more nervous about dental work, which only made me more nervous. Not forthcoming with any information about your procedure, and not patient enough to take the time to explain anything to you. He was brusque enough and detached enough that I rescheduled my procedure elsewhere. His assistants are nice, but I really don't recommend him if you're looking for a doctor that communicates and treats you humanely.
Dr. Silverman and his staff are top notch! I had a tooth extraction and subsequent dental implant and found Dr. Silverman and his team to be knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. Dr. Silverman explained the procedure thoroughly before-hand and made certain that I understood the post-op instructions. Appointments are easy to schedule, and insurance matters are handled timely and correctly. Would highly recommend!
Had an implant procedure done here last month. The procedure itself went okay, but it was really the office administration that was sorely lacking. Their claims processing on the patient's behalf was fraught with errors that I've had to waste a lot of time following up with my insurance company.They submitted the wrong tooth number and omitted info that was necessary for the claim. And now I just learned that the claim benefit check is going to them. They took full payment from me up front.
