I have previously worked with Dr. Lana in a professional manner, and prior to becoming a mom, I knew that he would be my kid's pediatrician based on how I saw him navigate his medical practice. Dr. Lana is now my teenage autistic son's pediatrician and I cannot say enough good things about the compassion and empathy that Dr. Lana has. dr. steven lana was very rude and unprofessional telling my daughter that she is big and asking if she gets teased for her bigness.I feel like I failed to protect my daughter from the traumatizing experience. Not sure if he is this way with all his patients or just certain patients. The nurse even offered to put in the notes for her not to ever have to see him again and that she see's a female doctor from here on out. I have never had an encounter with a doctor like this. Very rude, and unprofessional. I am shocked he is a pediatrician seeing children… I would not recommend Dr. Lana to anyone. I am a nurse and work closely with doctors and the way he speaks down to others is not ok. Very disappointing.
If there was a “Worst Doctor In America” award it would go to this individual. Doctor Lana (if you could even call him doctor) is the most rude, uneducated, and laziest individual ever. He misdiagnosed my brothers Phnmonia, and as a result after going to the hospital found out it was double lung Phnmonia and he could’ve died! He’s rude , and doesn’t seem to care about anyone’s concerns. He’s only there for the paycheck. For your life’s sake, Stay Away from this man!
