Absolutely adore Dr Lana. He took so much time explaining everything to my husband and I (1st time parents) and made us instantly feel comfortable. My nephews both go to Dr Lana as well and have had every sickness under the sun managed with ease and promptness. Would recommend Dr Lana to everyone! Thank you Delaware pediatrics for all you do each and everyday.
I have previously worked with Dr. Lana in a professional manner, and prior to becoming a mom, I knew that he would be my kid's pediatrician based on how I saw him navigate his medical practice. Dr. Lana is now my teenage autistic son's pediatrician and I cannot say enough good things about the compassion and empathy that Dr. Lana has. dr. steven lana was very rude and unprofessional telling my daughter that she is big and asking if she gets teased for her bigness.I feel like I failed to protect my daughter from the traumatizing experience. Not sure if he is this way with all his patients or just certain patients. The nurse even offered to put in the notes for her not to ever have to see him again and that she see's a female doctor from here on out. I have never had an encounter with a doctor like this. Very rude, and unprofessional. I am shocked he is a pediatrician seeing children… I would not recommend Dr. Lana to anyone. I am a nurse and work closely with doctors and the way he speaks down to others is not ok. Very disappointing.
