This is my 3rd pregnancy. I just moved back to Kokomo this past year. I heard good things about Dr. Hott so I called 2 weeks ago because I had a positive at home pregnancy test. They said they would call me back with an appointment. I called yesterday to speak with a nurse because I’m having left hip pain I’ve never experienced with my other 2 pregnancies and also wanted to find out why they never called me. Would not recommend him. His dilation “checks” were SO extremely painful. It felt like he stuck his whole hand in my uterus. I’m slightly overweight and a black woman… I was induced by my doctor. He kept telling me if I didn’t dilate quick enough, we would definitely be having a c-section, I cried non-stop until the next morning and my actual doctor was on shift, she said “nope, we are going to deliver this baby right here”. nope nope nope. delivered my daughter 5 years ago though I could trust this man with my life and my babies. went back now 5 years later and he and his staff have changed. he acts like he knows nothing... he forgets all of my info about me and my pregnancy and prior pregnancies. he makes me feel so worried for me and my baby. Told me I was having false labor and that he doesnt like to give pre term labor shots ar almost 36 weeks pregnant but then had his nurse give me a shot the day before to stop pre term labor and didnt eve... read more
Dr. Hott is not only the best obgyn ever, he is a great man! He spends countless hours working because he loves what he does! He is helpful, understanding, and honest! He goes above and beyond for each patient! I will never see anyone else for my pregnancy or health needs besides him!
Love Dr. Hott!! He delivered my son and he is very caring and excellent at what he does!! He knows and remembers you as a person not just a patient! Also I had a miscarriage and he took the time to just call and check on me in the evening just to make sure I was okay!! Just very compassionate as well!!
Dr. Hott's staff isn't so hot.I am limited to a certain amount of space so I can't explain in every detail what I experienced.The person that answers the phone always sounds dry, not personable and never introduces herself.I did not feel like they were concerned about me, like I was just another patient.I got hung up by another associate. Never a thank you or have a good day.Because of the staff I choose not to have any other services with him because to get to him I have to go through them.
