While staff and scheduling were excellent, perhaps Dr. H was having a difficult day in that while his assessment(s) may have been useful, his demeanor in so doing left much to be desired. I drew little from his admonishments and rest on the fact that the tests were positive, which ceteris paribas could have been accentuated .
Dr. Hersh is a no nonsense man. He tells you the truth regardless of how it makes you feel. When I went to see him for testing after an episode of SVT. He literally said a little less eating and a little more exercising would do me good! I was so chagrined by his bluntness,. I walked out of his office and 7 months later I am 73lbs lighter and run 6 minute miles at age 53. I came to get an EKG regarding my medications I take ordered by my psychiatrist. He made several rude comments about the supposed ‘non necessity of me getting an EKG’ and couldn’t understand why my Dr ordered these tests. I explained several times the symptoms I was feeling, and Hersh was only focused on the fact that I had supposedly not lost weight since my acl surgery in 2018, which is a lie.
