Dr. Lommatzsch and National Jewish Hospital saved my life. I had been getting poor medical care at another nearby hospital and my life was quickly fading. Dr. Lommatzsch took the time to review my medical records in detail and told me that I was going to get the care I needed. He quickly scheduled surgery to get a tissue sample and placed me with another amazing doctor at National Jewish who specializes in the condition that I have. Dr Lommatzsch is one such artist, whose exceptional competence and communication skills are matched by his gentleness, kindness, empathy and patience. Dr Lommatzsch is ”present” and it is a rare privilege to be his patient, a patient he empowers beautifully.
