I believe that Steve is knowledgeable but not too interested in his patients, at least not me. I felt very unimportant to him which was fine the first year or two I saw him but last year after being diagnosed with a brain tumor and cancer and had to have major brain surgery and radiation up at UCSF Steve did virtually NO follow up with me as my primary care NP. Steve is the best provider I have ever met. He is intelligent, attentive, empathetic and thorough. I have met many clinicians in town and I have never met a clinician as caring as Steve. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to be seen by someone who actually cares, listens and follows up.

Steve is a very nice person and I think he is probably doing his best to take care of you, but the way the office is operating nothing gets done. You ask for help and your message is ignored. You are told you will get help, but nothing happens. I am looking for help elsewhere
