The best of the best. I had a complicated issue and Dr. Lee-Kong was able to schedule surgery very quickly. He is calm, experienced, and expert at what he does. He made a stressful time better for me and my family.
I have suffered for years from abdominal scar tissue. My quality of life deteriorated and I seeked advice from Dr’s at NYP. Dr. Lee-Kong took a chance on me and performed lysis of adhesion surgery on me . It was done with 4 very small laparoscopic incisions. The surgery was a success! He was not only a superb surgeon but he was empathetic. Dr. Lee-Kong gave me my life back and for that I will always be grateful. Dr Lee-Kong is an expert in his field. I felt completely comfortable under his care and my surgery went great. I had to have a colon resection due to severe diverticulitis. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing to have colon or rectal surgery.
Surgery is scary. I had to have a colon resection due to severe diverticulitis. I consulted with Dr. Stephen Lee-Kong after finding him on this site. Dr. Lee-Kong is a consummate expert. I had a three-day hospital stay and four minor incisions, three no longer than one inch in length and one three inches. I was back to work in two weeks. Dr. Lee-Kong and his staff were always available to answer my questions. Dr. Lee-Kong is extremely approachable and friendly.
