We will be forever thankful to Dr. Kane for saving our daughter's eyes 14 years ago. His skills, knowledge and care is the reason she is able to see and develop just like all other kids who grew up not knowing what eye cataract is. Thank you, Doctor Kane!!!

One of the most terrible experiences with a doctor that my child has experienced. I hate to be so blunt but for any parent who truly wants what is best for their child, I implore you to avoid this physician at all costs. It will be a waste of your time, money, and emotional energy.

A very friendly Dr with a great bedside manner told us that immediate cataract surgery was the only option for our daughter. We went to Dr. Kane for a second opinion. He was recommended to us as a top pediatric eye surgeon in the area. After careful examination, he prescribed glasses which made a big difference right away. Very thankful we went to Dr. Kane, our daughter would have had to go through two unnecessary surgeries if not for his expertise!

First. The wait time was nearly 2 hours. You can imagine that this is hard with a toddler, showing up 15min before our appointment as they directed and waiting for 2 hours while the Dr went MIA. (the staff couldn't find him). Then he has a huge attitude problem and terrible bedside matter for a pediatric ophthalmologist. The way he handled/yelled at my 1yr old, it truly traumatized him (and I'm not even the protective type). No matter how good he is at surgery, he is a NO-GO.

Top notch surgeon and specialist. He doesn't have the cuddliest bedside manner, but I want a great diagnostician and surgeon, not a best friend. Dr. Kane did a difficult surgery on our son with good results, and we are confident in his skills. He has a dry sense of humor and isn't chatty, which apparently bothers some people, but I like him and he's authentic. Stuart who manages the office is helpful and responsive and we've only had good experiences.

Dr. Kane is a top notch medical professional and has the kind of calm demeanor that reminds me of old time doctors (although he's not old). I trust him completely in treating our son's ophthalmology issues, which have been 2 lensectomy surgeries and multiple eyeglass prescriptions. Highly recommended.

He should not get specialize himself in Kids Ophthalmology. He does not even know how to talk to kids. Such a rude doctor, I have ever seen. Does not even talk properly and never tells things clearly. He has a BIG attitude problem. I will not recommend this doctor to anyone.
