After purchasing a used car from Steve White VW, I encountered some problems shortly thereafter. I hastily published a negative review, but VP Brian reached out to me and we were able to discuss the problems. Big regret! I purchased a used car (Cadillac Escalade ) from the Steve White VW car lot. I did not take the car to the service shop to have the car looked over. The salesperson did state I had the option to do so. The car looks great and run well that day. I purchased it on a Friday, (3/24/2023), and on Saturday (3/25/2023)I discovered several things wrong with the car, navigation did not work, can not remove the CD from the player, the back defroster did not work and noise came from the engine. I am writing this review in hopes to help others not be misinformed like I was after purchasing a brand-new car for the first time ever. I purchased my vehicle October of 2021 while signing paperwork for my car, it was damaged by the detailers. While getting my car fixed, I was 7 months pregnant, and was without my car for over 3 weeks. While servicing my car on 10/05/2022 they lost my key in another customers car that lived in Union, SC. We apologize for everything that happened. We would have preferred to replace your new vehicle at the time of purchase when it was damaged, however, at that time the chip shortage was at its height and we literally had no new vehicles on the lot to replace it with. When we tried to replace it a year later we were not clear on the terms presented and ultimately made the situation worse. Understand this is not the norm for us and hope to do better in the future should you decede to give us another chance.
The service department is inept and they are out for your money. I took my car and told them specific reasons for the faults I had going on together with what the other mechanics had told me (9 pages of communication issues). They diagnosed a faulty battery and tried to charge me $600 for a battery and 2 hours of work to change tge battery. My mechanic friend called and complained and they gave me $300 of my money back. I tried to show the nationwide deals on VW website and the manager just got mad cause I said I would never buy a vehicle with the sticker price. I have done business with so many dealerships, and none of them would deny a special offer shown on the official website as long as you are qualified. It was a really terrible experience though the first sales person was very nice.

Definitely not on my list. Offer accepted, then behind my back sold to another party. Loan in place, insurance in place, not good. I would not recommend this dealership, go to ****** *******anytime for a better experience all around.

If you’re in the market for a car, this place should definitely be your go to. From the sales men to the finance team and even management, they are there for you and to help you. When nobody else could get me approved, they did. When one lender let me down they went out of their way to find one that wouldn’t. Definitely some of the best people I’ve ever met. They were all about getting me approved and leaving with a car. The nicest car I’ve ever had at that. With an AMAZING price and monthly payment.

We bought an Atlas this past Saturday. Great experience! Patrick Norris was our salesman. He was wonderful! Not pushy at all, and answered all our questions. He was very personable! We also spent some time with Tony Williams in finance. He was so kind and very patient with explaining things to me. Thanks for the great service!
