I felt like the appointment was very rushed. Only 45 minutes to explain your mental state is tough. I did feel as if he was raising his voice at me several times thru out the appointment. Not making me feel comfortable enough to speak about my situation. I hope this was only my experience and my mistakes to maybe cause him to interact with me the way he did.
Dr. Patrick was professional, engaging and courteous. Explained the interview process thoroughly and gave me great feedback at the conclusion. This was very important for me newly navigation the clams process.
I had him for a VA C&P exam. I was very disappointed.
Finally found the right person to talk with. He gave so much insight and guided me through a very hard time. I would recommend anyone who wants to do the hard work of getting better, to make an appointment with him.
This experience with Dr. Steven "Steve" Patrick was the most awful mental health experience I've ever had and caused me to lose medical benefits. I literally felt the second worse I felt in my life and considered suicide again. I wouldn't let my enemy see this doctor for any reason. There should be negative stars for this Practitioner.
Dr. Patrick helped me understand my condition and gave me so many tools to improve. Listened so well and made such impactful suggestions.
Just a excellent Dr. He really made my family and I very comfortable and explained everything to us on what he was trying to do. No doubt had a better understanding on what was happening with me when I left. Veterans need more doctors like him working for them.
