My brother died in 2006, just days after seeing this doctor and obtaining a large prescription for morphine. It was his first visit with Dr. Lau. He was just 23 and has been gone nearly 18 years due to this doctor’s willingness to provide powerful opioids to a patient he just met and his failure to do a thorough exam of the patient and their medical records.
