Had a water heater installed. Nice tech, good work, but the main focus of the company is to upcharge and find some excuse to not guarantee ther work or warranty their installations. They said my water pressure was 85, no warranty, had to be 80; the old water heater was a floor model fron Home Depot; it lasted 27 years! These people are dishonest. Anyone asks me, that is what I will say.
Steve Huff Plumbing came (July 1, 2023) to our house to fix a leak around the base of a toilet. I thought this would be straightforward and relativity easy for a plumbing outfit. The driver was very courteous and knowledgeable, but seemed to be more interested in finding other areas to repair/sell. Friday, 02-04-22, Steve Huff Plumbing sent two technicians to install a replacement kitchen faucet to mirror a Kingston Brass bridge style faucet that had developed a leak. Steve Huff's personnel were able to find a perfect replacement at a very reasonable cost. What struck me the most was the quality and professionalism of the technicians that arrived to install. 0-Stars. Let me repeat - ZERO-STARS!!! Nothing gets my ire up more than dishonest businesses who post '100% GUARANTEED SATISFACTION' and then practice everything else but what they preach. Run away from this company. They are NEVER allowed back. I will never slight anyone or any company for making mistakes – we all make mistakes. The rating is NOT due to the mistakes they made. What crooks!!! They charged $404.64 per studor vent to install. They charged $107.64 to install P-traps each. And worst of all repaired a 1/2" water line that was leaking very slowly at the elbow between open beams in the basement and charged $546.57 for that. Add in the service fee of $129 and I had a grand total of $2724.69. Stay clear of the these crooks unless you like flushing money down the drain.
$150 per manhour is WAY TOO MUCH for a plumber and helper.Thanks a bunch,but never again.
Scheduled a week in advance, called 2 days before to verify to make sure. On day of appointment I called and they said sorry they're held up on a job and tried to reschedule me 2 weeks out!
