I’m new to the area and was concerned about finding a good doctor. Dr Horrocks came highly recommended by a neighbor. I have seen Dr Horrocks two or three times this year, and have been very satisfied with each visit. He is very knowledgeable, takes his time with questions and concerns, and is available with a day notice, sometimes same day! He is also a preferred provider with my insurance. I would highly recommend Dr Horrocks, especially while he still has space available.

I was not sure if this was the way I wanted to go, paying through MDVIP. However, I quickly was on board when I was invited in for a free 30 min consult with Dr. Horrocks to see if I felt safe and in competent hands. You see...Doctors in AZ are mostly subpar in their practices. I do not believe it is the doctor; I think it is the system! So going through MDVIP allowed me to find a Doctor (not a PA) and, better yet, a DO! My husband and I moved into Surprise July 2019 and in November we saw Dr. Horrocks for the 1st time. He seemed fine and my husband made a follow-up appointment for early Feb. When Feb came, he was informed that Dr. Horrocks was now charging $1,800 a year to each patient ( that would be $3,600 for the 2 of us, EVERY YEAR ) just for the honor of being his patient. Dr. Horrocks is one of the best doctors I have ever been to (and unfortunately that is a lot). He truly cares for his patients and listens to us. He asks questions to find out how we are. He is caring and really helps. Scheduling is easy and his staff is awesome. He joined MDVIP, and we decided to continue to with his office even with the extra charge because of how amazing he is. We have been with him since late 2012.

Knew I had a problem but didn't want to go in. Had been to Dr. Horrocks 6-months prior for my annual physical. Called in for appt on Thursday and was told the doc had one opening left on Friday. I arrived, waited 5-mins, was called in, had vitals taken, waited 5-10 mins and Dr came in. He diagnosed me in less than 10-mins (and even noticed I'd cut my hair shorter!). Now that's service!!

I’m one of Dr. Horrocks’ original patients. As being a medical professional myself, he takes the time to listen to my concerns. Rachel, his PA, is also a rockstar. They both take the time with their patients to address all concerns and develop a treatment plan best suited for each patient. Although, I have to say the one receptionist could use a bit of an attitude adjustment. She can be rude and think she rules everything. Leaving messages with her don’t seem to go to doc, but email is no prob.

We have been so lucky to find suck an amazing Doctor. He is always intuitive and listens, and I mean actually listens when you talk. He may be the most caring and intelligent Doctor I've ever been to.
