Only use in an emergency and if you have no other choices. They charged me $115 just to come (they did not disclose that fee when the appt was booked) and another $350 to “diagnose” (i.e. listen to me tell them the problem). When he wanted to charge me an additional $400 to replace a rubber gasket on a leaky sink I told him to leave.
Basso Plumbing & Heating is a fantastic family run business that has been maintaining our needs for the entire time I've owned a home in Fairfield (~28 years) and have always been timely and fair in any work they've done for us. Recently, they had to replace a main sewer line to the city sewer system and I can't say enough good things about how helpful they were in making what could have been a major disaster less painful. We recommend them very highly for any of their services!
