I'd give this incompetent minus 10 stars if I could. They are beyond rude and Marissa the supervisor is the biggest control person ever! They belittle you and talk down to you. The amount of welfare recipients hanging out front would scare anyone away! I'd stay clear from this place if you need therapy!
When my child was going here, it was mandated as part of a behavioral center release after suicide ideation that he saw a counselor 1x/week for safety checks. They had a difficult time getting him in to begin with because of their schedule. Understandable since our mental health services are understaffed. I can't blame that on them, I suppose. Zero if possible. Highlights include being told I was at fault for being close to a person that kicked me. I was also told I was making excuses when I told them I have a hard time remembering to take medications. Also, when mentioning the possibility of ADHD, I was told that most people with adhd as adults deal with it fine without treatment. I’ve been going here since I was four. Life catches up with you and move on. I went in for my intake process a week ago, because of childhood trauma and suicidal thoughts among other things. The intake clinician named Kyle spoke in a low monotone voice the whole time and told me that “we seem to have a difference in opinion on what therapy is”.
