Great Classes in Downtown Albany – The Steuben Athetic Club just reopened and offers at least 2 classes a day that I am interested in taking. Spinning or Strength Interval Training at noon or 5:30, or Spin at the same times on alternating days. For early risers they offer a Spin Class at 6:30 AM. The instructors are really great and the club is being updated every day. It reopened last month and I am happy that I gave it a chance. GREAT Nostaglic Facility – The Steuben Athletic Club has all new managament and re-opened as of Jan.2011. The staff there are very passionate about re-inventing the Health and Wellness Community in Downtown Albany. Rates are very reasonable and included full use of the entire facility including fitness classes taught by some extraordinary Instructors. You have to check the new SAC out!! You won't be dissappointed, has everything you need to live a Healthy Lifestyle!!

Expensive and poorly maintained – Not really worth it. You can get a regular gym membership in the area for $10 - $20/mo. If you want the pool, etc. join the YMCA. It's about the same quality and you can get a membership for two people for less than one here.
