Tell me why become a doctor if you honestly don't care about helping others. Went here the other night because my 3 year old son had his finger slammed into a door. They literally have a sign in the waiting room saying they do care for laceration and broken bones. My son is bleeding from his finger, crying and they just to turn us away because they don't know if they could do anything if he wouldn't sit still...how could you look at a child in pain and not care enough to try and help. An ER ran tests on me; told me to follow up with primary care and Angela Abel of Sterling Urgent & primary care stated that maybe I had a bad ER Dr (I guess all the tests they ran was bad too????) and to just go back to ER and maybe if I need referral to specialists or anything regarding my recurrent syncope that any ER can do that??? WHAT? She was lazy and did absolutely nothing. Recurrent, ongoing issues is not what ERs are for- they do not diagnose nor are they there to do a general work-up exam as she suggested. I’ve struggled over the last 9 months with some issues, along with not finding a doctor whom would truly “hear” me. That along with judgements, quick assumptions, and in some cases shaming I’d all but giving up. Nervously with worsening issues after leaving the parking lot once I talked myself into going in. Recemption was kind and friendly. Between the transactional treatment from staff and a "fish bowl" waiting room it felt more like a business exchange than healthcare. They were also unable to give me a cost breakdown of my estimate.
Little of a wait put totally worth it I was diagnosed with bronchitis and upper respiratory infection from st Al’s urgent care on 5 mile lake hazel but kept getting worse went here and found out I have pneumonia and gave me the right meds and breathing a lot better thank you ladies for taking care of me
