Mis-managed real estate portfolio and took a 90% decrease in value in less than 5 months and no communication at the time; before, during or after. I was notified by other Finacial Institution of possible fraud (2) two years later. No responcibility taken by the Broker or Corperate for the lack of Due Diligence on the portfolio for possible fraud case. Red flags about the poor mis-managed portfolio was in the news (9) nine month prior to the investment.
Business response:
Customer refers to one publically traded stock, not a managed real estate portfolio. My records indicate that I spoke to and met with Customer multiple times in 2015, 2016, and 2017. Both my firm and I did extensive due diligence on this company. It is true that the traded stock lost value, however no law enforcement or regulatory body has found any wrong doing on the part of the company.
