Dr Sterling and staff are very rude. I needed a refill for medication that I need to take on a daily basis or I get very ill. Not only did she refuse to refill my meds in a timely manner but would not fit me in to her schedule so that I could get a refill. Therefore I got very ill and went to urgent care where I was told never to go off my meds again because I could have suffered a stroke. When I called to schedule an appointment after my issue she refused to see me again and said I needed to find another doctor.

Dr Sterling was my PCP for many years. I finally got fed up with being told to go to urgent care every time I was ill, and being unable to schedule appointments for periodic prescription refills. Her staff turnover rate is incredibly high, and they are consistently rude and incompetent.
I was a patient there three years ago and left due to their changes in the practice. I called to re-appoint and reestablish with them. After waiting 5 days, I called back to follow up for the appointment. I was told that they haven't made up their minds whether or not I would be allowed back. Who are these people?
Dr. Sterling (or her staff) has canceled my appointments more than I can count. It seems that the only way you can get a doctors appointment is by her time only. Their staff also either doesn't call to communicate the cancellation with you until the day of or the day before. Also Dr. Sterling will only permit discussion of one ailment or health problem per visit, so if you have more than one problem medically, you're not getting another appointment for that until she has time for you. Overall, the service and professionalism... read more

Dr. Sterling will only permit a patient to discuss ONE thing per visit, and only one visit per week. So if you discuss your cancer, then get a UI infection in the same week, you have to go elsewhere. The office staff also makes that very clear. Dr. Sterling is a good doctor, but doesn't seem to comprehend (or care) that peoples health doesn't necessarily fit this rigid format.
