Stepstone Foster Care Agency is a joke. A very inept, unorganized agency. I've been fostering special needs children for 18 years. I stopped during COVID in late 2021, and decided to continue in 2025. I initially tried to be a host home provider(through Rescare), which provides the same type of services, but for disabled adults too old for foster care). That ended up being a disaster. We have been with this agency for a little over 2 years, and this is by far the best fostering/adoption experience we have had. The staff is amazing and they have treated us like family and are super professional. Anything we have needed and dfcs was unable to help us in the time of need all we had to do was call up our caseworker and the issue got resolved right then.
