Alicia was my angel. She saved me! I went through so much trauma in 6 weeks. I would do it all over again.
I had spent 1 1/2 years working with Alicia on my traumas. Before her I was in a very bad mental state. I just had my last session today and feel a full 180. I couldn't have gotten here today without her. She was flexible, adaptable, and sincere in her desire to help.
After years of talk therapy, I never saw results but in just a few sessions of EMDR therapy with Alicia, I felt so much better. She helped identify the root causes of my anxiety and reprocessed all my trauma memories so they don’t control my life anymore. Alicia is very easy to talk to and her office is warm and inviting. Thanks to her, I am proud to say I went from having daily anxiety to having situational anxiety which she has given me tools to work through and calm myself. 10/10 recommend Stepping Stones Counseling!!!
I can’t thank Alicia enough for the work that she does. EMDR has changed my life entirely. I was struggling with PTSD and severe panic attacks and I can honestly say I am not struggling with those issues anymore. I got my life back. It takes time and patience and Alicia was so supportive and empathetic every step of the way. I highly recommend doing this work! Hope and healing is possible and I am so grateful!!
I can’t say enough about how impactful my EMDR therapy experience has been. It was a journey that took time, patience, and a lot of trust in the process but it was absolutely worth every bit of the work. Over the course of several months, I experienced real shifts that I honestly didn’t think were possible when I started. Alicia Harris was wonderful to work with kind, steady, and deeply supportive throughout it all. She created a space where I could truly show up and do the work I needed to do.
