He’s an excellent surgeon, explains everything well and answers all your questions. He has actually operated on me twice 8 years apart. I would highly recommend him.
Had a small umbilical hernia mesh put in. Dr. Stephens did a good job explaining the procedure and what it would entail. He was very professional, had good bedside manner, and did and excellent job with the surgery. Surgery was on a Thursday and although I was still fairly sore and walked really slow, I was back to work on Monday. 10/10 Would reccommend.

I am sure Dr. Stephens is a fine surgeon, however I cancelled my colonoscopy/surgery due to unexpected out-of-pocket projections for the Dr. and for the hospital that were not discussed in my initial visit. The Dr. interview seemed rushed and I felt like I was in an assembly line. I found another doctor in the same Texas Health System.
Dr. Stephens is awesome! He explains everything in detail!!! We were very please with his knowledge! He is number #1! He is very easy going and a very positive person!! My operation was very smooth! I have complete confidence in him! If I ever need a surgery again, he will be the man to do it!! He is highly recommended and my family is grateful for taking good care of me!
