Well I guess this was a good lesson to read the reviews first… just like the others here- I placed an order ($40) on Monday for a Friday (8/21) pick up. I followed the pickup instructions in the confirmation email- keep in mind it’s a 3rd floor walk up, no ADA accessibility here. No one there. I called, knocked, nothing. So now I’m breadless. Similar story to a few others. Placed an order on a Wednesday for a Friday morning pickup (~$30). Confirmation email but no other communication. Went to the designated pick up - no one there. Contact phone number not working. I emailed them and was promptly refunded - no harm, no foul. Reason: “We’re on vacation and idk why Square allowed the order to be placed.” Umm…ok well idk either but maybe just a quick apology when your systems cause an inconvenience. It’s not that hard.
Saw someone had the same experience, I made an online order (50 bucks with tip!) was so excited - got the confirmation email, date, time, got there after driving 40 min and it wasn’t open, no one picked up calls, I feel like that’s crazy to treat customers that way!
We had ordered Christmas rolls in the past & enjoyed. I ordered online this year, paid & tipped via Square (total $40), and was given a pickup time. Nobody was there, no notification that my order would be unfulfilled, nobody picks up the phone, no follow up to emails sent.
Ordered a few loaves of bread for a weekend up north and the bread was a hit! The white and wheat sourdough was soft and delicious, perfect for any breakfast toast and the blueberry lemon loaf was insanely good! Between 10 of us, it was gone in less than 24 hours! Stephen was lovely to work with and even came through with my order despite a slight oven problem. Will definitely order again!
