Because of a large cyst that was entwined in my esophagus, the first idea was to remove my esophagus and introduce tube feeding. I did not like that idea. Instead, dr Stephen Yang, after making sure it was not cancerous, explained he used the cyst walls, "peeling it like an onion", and rebuilt my esophagus. Thus, no tube feeding. This was almost 4 years ago. I am still so very grateful to him and his team.
Dr Yang is one of the best doctors in the Country. Using the latest surgical techniques, he made it possible for me to be lung cancer free for 7 years. Dr Yang or the best doctors at MD Anderson, you can't go wrong with either.
