I don’t know what to say to any of the people who didn’t like Dr. Speeg. I had the pleasure of having him as my physician for nearly two decades. He not only cared for me, but he cared for both my wife and my mother in law, both of whom have passed from this world. I saw him give the best care anyone could ever ask for and when he had the unenviable task of telling them that they needed to put their affairs in order as that time came, I couldn’t have found a better person to deliver such terrible news. The best, compassionate and knowledgeable doctor I’ve ever had. Maybe he runs behind schedule, but you realize when it’s your turn he takes his time allowing you to ask questions, explains it making sure you understand and are comfortable. I’m 43 and he has been my doctor since I was 15. He is certified as an internist and pediatrician and has been my now 23 and 15 year old boys doctor since birth. Great warm personality and he greatly cares about his patients.
Please be advised that patients are not getting appointments when they need them. I have a problem with a possible leg infection and was told you could not see me until August, two weeks from now. This is unacceptable. We are looking for a new doctor. My wife was refused refills from your office because OLOL did not have her records. Why weren't they transferred? We have been patients since the 1980's. We are both not pleased with the new handling of your office. Changes are needed!
He has no compassion or feelings for his patients. I called the office that morning and got a 4:00pm appointment. When I arrived, there were two other people still waiting to see him. When it got to be 5:00,, I went to tell the clerk that I need to leave for 10 minutes to pick my other child up from her after school program which is right down the road. She went told the doctor & he said I would have to reschedule. I explained that I had waited over an hour on him but he didn't care.
