Trauma. I was in a terrible car accident, and was unconscious for a few hours. My doctor sent me to Dr. Saris. He said, Dr. Saris was an expert in concussions. He called them minimal traumatic brain injuries. I had been to a few other doctors, but Dr. Saris was the most reassuring and said that most concussions get better in a very short time. Usually over a few weeks. I have since gotten almost completely back to normal. He was so optimistic and patient with my questions.
Audrey from Scituate. I went to my doctor because I had trouble using my hands. They were really clumsy, and I was starting to fall. He sent me to a neurologist, he said I had a pinched spinal cord. Dr. Saris did an operation on me, both through the front of my neck and back. I am not back to normal, but a few months later I can use a spoon and fork and can type on my smart phone. The doctor says, I will continue to improve, though the spinal cord does not always come back completely.
Jack Russell trauma. I was in a terrible car accident, and was unconscious for a few hours. My doctor sent me to Dr. Saris. He said, Dr. Saris was an expert in concussions. Ian from Falmouth. I was going to go to one of the doctors at Cape Cod Hospital, but my cousin had Dr. Saris years ago and recommended him highly. His office was great. The doctor saw me ahead of time and went over all my imaging studies with me in his private office. We did the surgery up at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and it went great. My back is still a little achy, but the leg pain is gone. I think the nerve damage is gone too. I could not be happier with the result.
My primary care physician did an MRI that showed severe narrowing of my spinal canal. I was starting to lose feeling in my leg. He referred me up to Dr. Saris’ clinic near Gillette Stadium. He was really nice and spent a lot of time going over things with me and my wife. The surgery was done in Attleboro at Sturdy Hospital. I am back to work, and apart from some tightness around my incision I feel back to normal. I have not worked quite this well in years.
I had a ruptured disk in my neck between the C6 and C7 bones. The arm pain was terrible, and I could not sleep for weeks. Mr. Caspar and Dr. Saris did a fusion on my neck, and apart from a little numbness near my throat, I feel entirely back to normal. I recommend him highly.
I feel so much better. I have had about 15 years of severe pain traveling into my left chin. They say it is because of an artery putting pressure on one of my brain nerves. Dr. Saris did what they call an RFL (I forget what that stands for). I have a fair amount of numbness, but the pain has completely gone. Thank goodness, I was able to avoid radical surgery. First time I have been able to sleep in I do not know how long.
This doctor makes up his mind from a handful (not complete) list of medical records before meeting the patient. He barely lets the patient or family speak, stating he already knows and understands. This typically results in dangerously incorrect outcomes which could ultimately lead to death. He also discriminates and is judgemental. He may have been good in his younger days, but he is now too arrogant and pompous to correctly diagnose or treat.
Had a very good experience with him and his staff, the wait time wasn’t long. 5/5 would recommend to anyone who is looking for a doctor!
