I can't even stress how horrible it has been being seen by him, cold uncaring, and its been 2 weeks since I requested s9mething and haven't heard back, 3 days since therapist said he was gunna reach out, If your assigned him ask for someone else
I was originally with a different psychiatrist with Kaiser, but one day she was out of office, and so I had my appointment with Dr.Tokraks instead. He listened really well to my problems, and mental health issues. He gave me time to talk, and he validated what I was going through. After that initial appointment I asked to have Dr.Tokraks be my psychiatrist. His office, and nurses are quick to respond when I have an issue. I've gone through a lot, and I'm grateful for the health care team I have with Kaiser.
My daughter has a dual diagnosis of bipolar 2 and panic disorder. Her bipolar 2 mood swings have been lessened considerably under Dr. Tokrak's care. He has done an excellent job mitigating our daughter's bipolar 2 symptoms. Also, he has successfully helped her cope with her panic attacks through medication and other therapies. These are facts; not opinions! My wife and I strongly endorse Dr. Tokraks.
The worst psychiatric experience of my life. This was 4 years ago and it still haunts me. I was midst crisis, but handling it pretty well. I knew I needed to see someone. I was sober for 68 days. He waltzed in with turquoise pants and a flamingo shirt and rolled his eyes and asked me what the problem was. I told him about my sobriety and how proud I was.
