I was referred to Dr. Kalhorn because other doctors said my problem was too complicated to handle. He removed a thoracic disk herniation from underneath my spinal cord. Other doctors wanted to crack open my chest to remove the disk! I was technically able to go home the same day of surgery. I stayed overnight to be sure. But I was fine. Thank you Dr. Kalhorn and Holly!

At age 35, Dr. Kalhorn's nurse told me he recommended a multi-level (!!!) fusion to address every single issue on my MRI, despite having no spinal instability, good disc height at all levels, and only one symptomatic nerve root. Yes, you heard that right - in a consult for spine surgery, I did not meet Dr. Kalhorn, just his nurse. He was not there. I never got to meet him but his PA was terrible, didnt once want to talk about the tops procedure, which is what I was there for, she did some smoke and mirrors , then asked me where.my pain was , then said oh.he only does back pain not for leg numbness , mine was from disc degeneration, and pinching of the nerves, thus creating back pain. This doctor thinks he can erase the internet. Stephen, you are a one-star human, not even a doctor. Everyone, please READ BELOW my Google review about this doctor 5 years ago: Dr.Kalhorn is the least professional physician/surgeon I have ever encountered in my life.
