If you want an Orthopedic surgeon this is the man. He is the best in Jacksonville. Worked on both of my knees and both shoulders. Great job on all 4 limbs. Exceptionally nice individual that explains everything in detail. Tells you like it is and that a great attribute in a doctor. Would go no where else. My confidence in Dr. Lucie is as high as it can get. Would trust this man with my life.

One of the worst bedside manners I've ever experienced. Completely unsatisfied with my care from Dr. Lucie and his PA Wesley. Left him and had to go see another MD to finally get a MRI and diagnose an issue post patella fracture. Now I'm scheduled for surgery 7 months post. So much time, finances, and pain wasted!!
Dr Lucie is a very kind, patient doctor. I have many friends who have been under his care. And with very good results from rotator surgery.
Dr. Lucie came highly recommended. I have had one prior knee surgery and was looking for experience. What I got was a long wait time, an exam that was non-exsistant. He looked at my prior X-rays and MRI and said did not look to bad ordered another MRI, said not much he could do and left the room. I have an RA doctor and know my X-rays. After a three minute visit he left the room. From the exam table I could see clearly that the name on the X-rays and MRI were not mine! Close, wrong name!
Dr. Lucie was the answer to my prayers 2 years ago. I was unable to walk for 35 years without limping and in pain. I waited till I could no longer walk to see him. Other Doctors said they would have to break my femur just to get the new knee in. He promised he would not and he didn't!!! I had been in a head on collision in 1979 that broke my femur so bad that my knee would not bend at all. Now it does and I am no longer in pain.
