Unprofessional. I was sitting outside his office waiting to get called, and he comes out of his office and just taps me on the shoulder. He didn’t even call my name. I explained the vision problems I was having and that I have complex migraine syndrome. He couldn’t care less. He threw a bunch of drops in my eyes, has someone walk me to another area where all of the support staff just stood around texting in their phones, and offered me a “there’s nothing wrong with your eyes! Dr. Lewen is very professional, gives a thorough exam, listens carefully and answers all questions. His supporting staff is efficient and pleasant. The office is extremely well run. I was referred by two long term patients (friends) and the experiences they reported are the same as mine.
