Having worked with Dr. Salter in a professional capacity, I found it absolutely necessary to speak of his fantastic approach and dedication to helping people. He has an excellent listening ear, and is truly devoted to his work. Dr. Salter's genuine manner, open-mindedness, and support provides a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, no matter what the situation at hand may bring.

I have been seeing Dr. Salter for a while now. He is a really great therapist. He's good at really getting you to view things differently. He has a unique approach, kinda like it's time to get real. I feel like I am chatting with a trusted friend and not a therapist. I have referred several friends to him. Thank you Dr. Salter for all of your help!

Dr. Salter is a personal friend of mine from high school who has been a wonderful source of information for me, as a friend and mentor, who has encouraged me in my pursuit of psychological study, and has always been a ready source of clinical expertise. I have personally known Dr. Stephen L. Salter for many years and know him to be not only a proven practitioner but also a voracious scholar in the field of psychotherapy. His personal library of works from Alfed Kinsey to Sigmund Freud through Philip Zimbardo is a testament to that fact. More importantly, Dr. Salter has assimilated this great body of scholarly work and theory into his own unique brand of therapy.
