Fortunately, Dr. Ilario was my surgeon for two total hip replacements in 2024, one in the spring and one in the fall. Something that struck me was how highly Dr. Ilario's colleagues spoke of him. Dr. Ilario did both of my total knee replacements and I couldn’t be happier! Eight weeks after the 2nd one this past June I was walking 2 miles a day, riding a bike and climbing stairs normally. I haven’t been able to climb stairs for years!!! Wouldn’t see anyone else for ortho surgery and his team is just as amazing.
Dr. Ilario and their whole team were amazing and after my hip surgery within two months I was walking two miles a day very comfortably.
The decision to get a knee replacement did not happen overnight but rather over more than fifteen years. Then began the process of finding the right doctor. Having Kaiser was a great start. Their orthopedic doctors are highly qualified and specialized in their field. I highly recommend Dr. Ilario as the surgeon for this procedure.
