In September 1997, the show returned for the second time to Japan. In January of 1998, singers from Stephen Foster-The Musical joined the Louisville Orchestra for a pops concert featuring the newly orchestrated music from the show. I was there on the Opening Night Performance for The Stephen Foster Story. It was absolutely FANTABULOUS :)

My Sister and I came to see the show opening night. It was spectacular! The young man portraying Mr Stephen Foster, was excellent. His range of emotion throughout the night was a pleasure to witness. The young lady playing Jenny was exceptional as well. Both actors drew you into the story and emerse you in the play so much that you forget you're not actually a part of it. I will be making plans to see this production again.
