The show is visited each season by an average of 60,000 people from all over the world and has now played to more than two million people. In September 1997, the show returned for the second time to Japan. In January of 1998, singers from Stephen Foster-The Musical joined the Louisville Orchestra for a pops concert featuring the newly orchestrated music from the show. oh, I grew up on that stage as a little girl hanging around the cast , management and crew while my dad designed set pieces with his students. Stephen Foster story is the story of the glorious south in Song. you will never regret seeing this .

Had a wonderful time at both The Stephen Foster Story and the Monarchs.
I came to see the show as a child, born and raised in this area and tonight I returned with my girlfriend from New York. We both were very impressed by the entire cast, production and staff. An amazing show all around, and unique to the area. Thank you to all involved for bringing a wonderful story from long ago to life. Bravo!
