Excellent! I have seen him three times over the years and he is very honest, kind, and very good.
The best advice I can give you is to avoid this place as much as you can. I have not found one person not feeling terrible after using their service. I was their patient for about 2-3 years and all they trying to do is to work on unnecessary treatments to get money from my insurance. After all these years, my teeth situation has not changed. Not recommended.
I started using the services of this provider in 2015 and have been pleased with both the surgical expertise of Dr. Schenk as well as the dental hygienists that have done my teeth cleaning. I recommend this facility.
I had a graft done a few years ago by another periodontist and it was awful, but with Dr. Schenk it was the complete opposite. I honestly felt like royalty. Dr. Schenk and his staff treated me so well!! The surgery was flawless, healing time has been quick, they made sure I was comfortable from start to finish. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with the results. Amazing, courteous, talented group of people. Definitely recommend!!!
I just got home from another soft tissue graft procedure/surgery with Dr. Schenk. He explained everything to me and kept checking on me to make sure I was comfortable and wasn't feeling any pain. He took his time and answered my questions. He is a very caring and great dentist! The staff was very friendly and helpful! The charges for the surgery were submitted to my dental insurance with no problem at all. Dr. Schenk did a great job and I would recommend him to anyone!
Dr, Schenk is absolutely fabulous. He is the most considerate and kind dentist that I have ever deal with. I am dental phobic and Dr. Schenk and his fabulous staff have done everything in their power to make me comfortable. I can now go to Dr. Schenk's office on my own and without medication. Dr. Schenk runs a caring and professional office; with an extremely caring stafft.
Wait time each visit was over an hour. He also cancelled last minute and told me it couldn't be done by any other periodontist in Boise. That was a lie as the periodontist I went to said all periodontists do them. It took me two months to schedule the actual procedure with him and slowed getting my braces off because of cancelling by more than 3 minths. His bed side manner was rude (I am guessing because I look very young for my age).
