He should be forbidden from accepting new patients. Not compassionate. Disrespectful. Leaves elderly patient suffering in pain. Does not keep telephone appointments. Does not answer phone or return calls. Does not review MRI results. Shame on Advent health for contracting with this poor performer.
Like many of the other reviews here, this office has a complete disrespect for your time. My appointment was scheduled for 4pm (office closes at 5pm). Due to covid you are supposed to arrive early and check-in from your car. They then call you when it's your turn. I arrived at 340 checked in and waited....and waited....and waited. At 440pm almost an hour later I called to get an update, but I was forwarded to "an after hours " voicemail. I was forced to go inside. They apologized and said he was running behind. Dr Dobkin operated on me when I was a patient at Advent Health East Orlando Hospital. He did a great job addressing my immediate need and also provided a solution to an ongoing problem which impressed me. Trying to get a hold of his office to schedule a follow up procedure has been a nightmare.
Never had to wait more than 30 minutes. But then after reading all the reviews I tried to make my appointments first thing in the morning. Great doctor. Staff is extremely friendly. Never had a challenge with follow up either, but then again, after reading all the reviews I stayed on top of them. Got staff email addresses etc so I could personally follow up.

waiting on test results after a vasectomy, tried calling numerous times and sent to an answering service every time. Never got a call back but we did get a letter telling us they have tried to reach us several times. That was laughable. Getting through to them is like trying to call the fed government.
Long wait. Staff overwhelmed. They say they will call back but nobody does! leave message numerous times but no one calls back. Doctor doesn't follow thru with referrals that he offered to me. Medical assistant lied when weeks later realized nothing was done regarding my surgery. No compassion for sick patients. So sad!

He’s a great doctor, but I won’t recommend anyone to this facility/office. The organization in this office is extremely messy. I never called an office so much just to get something done (like prescriptions sent to pharmacy and/or FMLA forms). The communication with some of these receptionist are horrible.

2 hour wait today, almost 3 hours last time. office staff has no idea what they are doing, people standing outside the door, while they get more chairs.
