In April of 2021, I was referred to Dr Anesi's office in Waltham, MA: MERSI. My eye doctor here in Western MA suspected that I had Ocular Cicatricial Pemphigoid but he was unable to diagnose it. He told me that Dr. Anesi was a specialist and helped me set up an appointment in his Waltham office. I was seen right away. My husband came with me and we had a very comprehensive intake with Dr Anesi and his very caring and competent staff at MERSI in Waltham. In short, Dr Anesi saved my vision. Dr. Anesi is the most caring physician and he most definitely saved my eyesight. His office is clean and well maintained and the staff is very accommodating. I can’t say enough good things about him and MERSI.
I was sent to Dr Anesi by my regular eye doctor because I needed cataract surgery in both eyes he told me he was gonna get me to see his friend Dr.Anesi. Within a week I had a scheduled appointment to see him in his Waltham office. He then examined me and told me about cataract surgery and the options that I had two weeks later I was scheduled for my first cataract surgery. I was referred to Dr. Anesi by a trusted friend, and I can see why. My experience with Dr. Anesi, and his staff, for my recent cataract surgery, was top notch. At the consultation, where the procedure was explained, and options given , it was easy to understand. I did not feel rushed for any questions I had. The procedure went well ( both eyes) , and I had easy to follow directions for home, inbetween appointments. The scheduled appointments were on time, and the facility was very clean. I cant speak highly enough about Dr Stephen Anesi who saved my eye sight! The visits typically entail a lengthy waiting time but are well worth it to have an elite physician's care when it comes to your eye sight I bring my I pad with me to the waiting room and drink their coffee. You can choose from a wide assortment of flavors from their Keurig, there is also tea and hot chocolate. Starting a few years ago I developed chronic red itchy eyes attributed to my allergies.
