I cannot recommend Dr. Anesi enough! I had cataract surgery on both eyes and throughout the entire process, from consult through post-surgical follow up he was always professional yet down to earth. I unfortunately suffer from Birdshot Uveitis, and after going through several doctors with one-size-fits-all treatments that weren’t working, Dr. Anesi and the MERSI staff saved my vision. With that, they saved my quality of life, my career…I could go on. I cannot recommend him enough, and I travel from Houston to Boston just to be treated by him. He is the very best. If they had six stars I would give them!
I feel very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Anesi for what started out as a torn retina. Ultimately, my diagnosis became uveitis which necessitated immunosuppressant treatment. This diagnosis threatened my future eyesight in both eyes. I firmly believe that Dr. Anesi put me on the path that I am on now resulting in 20/20 vision after recent cataract surgery. MERSI WAS RECOMMENDED TO ME BY A FORMER PATIENT THAT RAVED ABOUT HER EXPERIENCE WITH THIS INSTITUTION. I WAS EXTREMELY IMPRESSED. THE FIRST TIME I CALLED, I WAS ABLE TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT EASILY FOR TWO CATARACT SURGERIES WITH DR. STEPHEN ANESI. DR. ANESI MADE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE MY FIRST VISIT. HE IS VERY COMPETENT AND PROFESSIONAL. MY TWO SURGERIES WERE EASY AND I HAVE NEVER HAD ONE PROBLEM. I WILL BE RETURNING FOR A CHECKUP IN A YEAR. THE STAFF, THE DOCTOR, THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS FIRST CLASS.
