I cannot thank Dr. Cairone enough for giving me my life back. I had spinal stenosis and for months my ability to walk was declining. I was using leg braces to be able to get around. I had a neurologist, a neurosurgeon, and a back specialist. All of them told me that I was not a candidate for surgery and continued to seek alternate reasons for my inability to walk. I was referred by my pcp to see an orthopedics and get an Xray . My visit with him was less than a minute. He didn’t sit to talk, he was just in and out. I checked in online and reported that I do have numbness and tingling but reported in his note that I denied them. He never asked about fevers, chills, bowel or bladder compromised but wrote in his note I denied them. my mom went to this doctor & he spent 2 minutes taking to her - not once even examined her back (the whole point of the appointment) and he proceeded to tell her she’s old and that’s why she has back pain. mind you her back pain prevents sleep, everyday movement and extreme pain. he never followed up with her and told her it’s all in her head. HORRIBLE
This guy should not be a doctor,spends 2 minutes with people and comes to the conclusion that somebody is fully healed. Sad,sorry and ashame.
Dr. Cairone did my fusion surgery 3 year ago at Capital Health Hospital. He was great. If I need more back surgery he only one I will let do it. I will travel to St Mary for him to do it even though I live in New Jersey.
