Just had a great appointment with Dr Hoover! He’s kind, thoughtful and spent a lot of time with me explaining the pros/cons of the ganglion cyst surgery I’m considering. I appreciate how conservative and not pushy he is and how upfront he is about success rates and potential treatment side effects. Highly recommend him!
I was referred to Dr. Hoover for surgical repair of fractures in both bones of my forearm. I can’t say enough about the great care I received. From the greeters at the door to the nurses and the x-ray staff, everyone was kind and professional. Highly recommend.
August 2017 Dr Hoover and I decided carpal tunnel surgery was needed on my right hand. All went well! As the years continued, periodically I needed cortisone shots in certain fingers on both hands. Once again a success! Then I needed carpal tunnel on my left hand and that was a success. Dr Hoover is not eager to do surgery, make sure you remember that. I started experiencing a flare up of De Quervain's Tenosynovitis that just would NOT go away in both hands during Covid. Sadly with a profoundly disabled and medically complex daughter at home I was terrified to step in a doctors office, and 100% of her care was being provided by me to limit her exposure from multiple home health aides coming in and out.
