One of the very best Orthopedic Surgeon! He takes his time and doesn’t rush your appointment. Listens to what you have to say as a patient and explains what is going on in words we understood. I have recommended Dr. Stephen Burgess to my family and friends. He’s kind, friendly and understanding has a smile on his face for his patients.
Dr. Burgess did my Husband 2 Knees and a revision to my left knee. I would recommend him in a second. His bedside manner is wonderful. He spent so much time with you and explained everything. My knee looks great . I thank him being it was second time around

My husband saw Dr. Burgess when admitted to Jefferson Hospital. He was very thorough when discussing treatment options and the next course of action when test results were back.
Dr. Burgess was nice to me, and the staff was great, but I wish I had been educated on the Cortisone Flair, which I am experiencing now after getting a cortisone shot in my knee. My pain went from a 7 when I went in, to a 15 and through the roof kind of pain now. I will never, ever let anyone give me one again. I can barely walk at all now. I am obviously within that wonderful 1-10% of unlucky people who have this awful reaction.
