Been seeing Stephanie for ~5-6 years now, and she is truly a wonderful person and hairstylist. Coming from out of statew and from a childhood rife with bad haircuts, I was SO relieved when I found Stephanie who can handle Asia hair no problem! I've followed her around the Madison area and absolutely understand why she has plenty of other folks who've stuck with her for decades and even come from out of state!!!
Wow! I feel very lucky to have found Stephanie because she is masterful with hair! Stephanie herself is an absolute delight, bubbly, and so sweet! I’ve always loved a cherry red, and I feel like she nailed the color I was looking for and I love this fun style. Not only was her execution amazing but just the experience itself was so delightful and really made the time fly by. Thank you so much for a wonderful color and cut and I will definitely be back again when I need a refresh!

Stephanie always does an AMAZING job cutting my pixie cut and works with my curl pattern — I also see other people’s resulting hair and it’s always beautiful. She is receptive if I feel like changing it up too which I appreciate. The shop is a lovely space and I see that she is open-minded and welcomes people from all different backgrounds. I love talking with Stephanie, she is so kind and friendly, and I always look forward to getting my hair cut. Stephanie’s Chair is a hidden gem and I’m so glad that I found it!
