weird billing practices , they over charge for everything and bill it separately , for example I had a zio patch placed , the cardiologist that read it billed me the tech that stuck it on my chest billed me , the irhythm company that manufactures it billed me , and they all billed charges that were exuberant, I was waiting for the janitor to bill me too, same for an abdominal ultrasound , even with the highest tier insurance with united I my out of pocket bill was in the thousands for a zio patch and an abdominal ultrasound ... read more

As if being recently diagnosed with cancer was not enough after coming to a doctors appointment and realizing my mom needed to be checked into the ER. THEY Left me and my mom locked in the doctors office and all staff went home for the day. Had to call 911 to get out. very traumatized by this hospital and the UCSF BRAND. I took her from kiaser thinking we would receive pristine care but that was the worst decision I made.
