RecommendedWe loved taking Basic Manners and Intermediate classes at Believe in Dog with our Shetland sheepdog. Our instructors were excellent and made the classes fun while being challenging. Our Sheltie has made great progress and we have learned skills we need to navigate life with her. We look forward to the CGC class next!
I absolutely LOVE this place!! I have a 5 month old Doberman puppy and have tried other highly recommended trainers and they all wanted to put choke collars on her or prongs & e-collars, she is still very young and I believed I could get her trained without the use of those collars. I can’t tell you how much I recommend working with Lily at Believe in Dog. Her Adolescent Basic Manners class has been an enormous help with my (very overenthusiastic) border collie. Lily is great at reading the dogs AND the humans in the class, and at breaking down dog “language” and behaviors. BID offers small group puppy classes supported by tons of online resources. We have trained all three of our Rhodesian Ridgebacks with Stephanie and have found her classes to be well-structured and interactive for puppies and puppy parents.
My dog and I had a great time and learned a lot during her classes with dog trainer Caroline. I recommend 💯 Believe in Dog Training.

Such a great experience! We loved our teacher, Caroline! We adopted two brothers and she was always positive and helpful when many people made us feel it was a mistake. I can’t wait to continue taking them to more classes!

I’m disappointed to be leaving anything but a stellar review and, moreover, extremely sad to not be moving forward with their training. Their staff and training are amazing but their missed class policy is extremely unforgiving. I got sick with COVID midway through the 6 week class session and was offered just 10% off another set of classes.
